The sovereignty of Parliament is involiable, this is just repeal of the Bill of Rights by another name. Only Parliament has the power of the purse, it's been like that since the Tudors, if not since Edward I. The Commission insists that their reforms would not compromise democracy but they are effectively, in Britain at least, repealing a fundamental democratic convention that predates the advent of proper democracy in Europe by hundreds of years (which makes it all the more fundamental).Npinkpantherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02356300503647396779noreply@blogger.com
